Dear friends,
I am thrilled to share with you that I will join a team of 14 people and fly to Ulaanbaatar to serve at a center called Manhole Children's Home. The Church I call community is seeking long-term partnerships with the center, and this trip would be its second visit.
I remember when I went to India to host an English camp with a couple of other students in my freshman year of high school. The grace I received from God then is still in my heart, the angels I witnessed at the new campus site the orphanage had recently bought, forming a shelter surrounding it in His Glory is a scene that I cannot forget to this day. I am looking forward to my trip to Mongolia this fall with hopes and prayers for something as significant as India.
My team and I hope that we will be able to create a long-lasting relationship not only with the center alone but with every single child that takes shelter and help there. I am praying that not only God humbles me but also gives reassurance that my upcomings shouldn't be as frightening as it is right now.
Prayer requests:
- That all the needed fundings are fulfilled.
- That my reliance on God remains firm despite hardships.
- To have a solid time with my team members, even when conflicts by the evil occur.
- Safe flights and travels
- That God provides me with a humbling time with the single moms and children at the center.
- To learn about the locals' prayer requests and remember them.
- That God teaches me life-lessons so that I know I can stay strong in faith in the Korean military.
Soli Deo Gloria,
Jimin
