In the early hours of Monday, February 6, a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and surrounding countries, leaving a path of destruction and tragedy in its wake. Over 23 million people have been affected, with thousands of lives lost, while countless others are left in dire need of assistance.
Open Eyes has experienced partners in the affected area, running our Middle East Life Center. In response to this tragedy, we are sending emergency relief funds to support our brothers and sisters on the ground. They have shared that this disaster only adds to the already overwhelming challenges of hunger, war, snowstorms, and a lack of food. Our goal is to raise at least $250,000, and 100% of the funds will go directly to the relief efforts on the ground.
